Numbers 14
Numbers 14:1-3 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4 So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”
I wonder if the children of Israel ever looked back at this day with regret as they wondered the wilderness. Where is the rewind button they must have thought. Can we go back to this day and make different choices. Do things differently for a different outcome. We all have days like that there is oneday in my life id like to replay over again in my head I would do it and change the outcome without hesitation the outcome would lead to a promising place. I can't say i don't love everything I have right now in life but you always have your what if moments that make you think were would I be how would life be right now? What they would have been doing if they would have possessed the land. What would it be like if they had just crossed the Jordan and walked with God. Yet instead of walking with Gods plan they choose to not walk with God so they went down a different path that lead them to wondering and going in circles. See when you walk with God you make it to a destination that he shows you. Joshua and Caleb made it to the promise land but the others never did. I bet all they wanted to do was just press rewind!
Fast Forward!
Joshua 6:15-16 But it came to pass on the seventh day that they rose early, about the dawning of the day, and marched around the city seven times in the same manner. On that day only they marched around the city seven times. 16 And the seventh time it happened, when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people: “Shout, for the Lord has given you the city!
Then there are days were I just want to fast forward and see whats going to happen in my life. I bet you as Joshua and Caleb walked in the wilderness they dreamed about they day they see this day. Its like me I want to see those things God showed me come to pass. I want to see a victorious day that was worth waiting for after years of a promise. After years of waiting. I just want to know what is uphead of me on the roads to come. Where will I be, what will I be doing, who will I be doing it with? Its What will my job be?Where will i be living, will i be married with kids? Sometimes you just want to see whats ahead for you before actually get there!

Ruth4:5-10 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.
7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.
8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.
9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.
10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.
Then their are those moments that you wish you could just pause for ever. Those moments that you wish would never end! This moment right here is so sweet Boaz was not going to leave Ruth a widow he wanted to redeem her. Yes he loved her so much. He even went before all the people a pronounced his love for her. Then He married her. What and aww moment. Moments that people just want to pause forever and enjoy! Yet life has to go on so press play to see how the story ends!

14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.
Life keeps going it keeps playing and keeps going. From Boaz love for Ruth then had a baby name obed who had Jessie who had king david who eventually it lead to Jesus birth. Life doesnt just stop or rewind or pause just because we want it to but it keeps playing so you can only wait to see what happens and keep moving because you can't change the past. You can't know the future unless God shows you. and you can't pause a moment unless you take a picture to make it last forever or video record it. So keep living life as it plays as you walk day to day and see how the story unfolds!
