TEMPORARY: lasting for a limited time
Numbers 14:20-24 Then the Lord said: “I have pardoned, according to your word; 21 but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord— 22 because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, 23 they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. 24 But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.
I recently started working a temp Job so that I can save to move. So It had me thinking about how many places in our life are only temporary. Temporary places are not our final destination. Yet they are only temporary until we get to the place in which we can call permanent. Yet in my life I have learned that even places that are temporary are still moments to tell people about Jesus! I dont believe in the one week that i've been there that Ive missed a moment to tell someone about Jesus. Im making sure I make my temporary place I chance to spread the gospel. Caleb and Joshua had to go through a the wilderness for a temporary season because of others disbelief yet that was not there destination. We often can mistake our temporary place for our final destination! Yet if that was the case Joshua and Caleb would never inherit the permanent place that God really had for them which was THE PROMISE LAND! DON'T GET COMFORTABLE ITS ONLY TEMPORARY!
