Desires!

What if God gave you all your heart Desired?

2 Chronicles 9:12
And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

We all have a desire for something! Just stop and think about what your desire is! Maybe it is the first thing that crosses
your mind each morning. A desire is a strong wanting for something.. or wishing something would happen what is that thing? I know for sure I know what my desire is it's gotten to the point i have bent over backwards trying to change certain things in my life just so that I can have my hearts desire. The king gave Sheba ALL HER DESIRE! Imagine in a blink of an eye your life just changed just because God gave you what you desire. Not just some of what you desire but all your hearts desire!

Getting YES to having what you Desire!

1 Samuel 1:17-18 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

Do you remember being a little kid and wanting something in the store and asking your parent. Praying to God that they would say yes you could have it. You wanted it and you hoped they would give you what it was that you longed for at the moment! It was always sad to hear a NO! aWW MOM! aWW DAD... PLEASE! Hannah decided to ask God for what she desired. Her reply to what it was that she desired was a YES. Imagine God tell you he was going to give you what you longed so much for. Yes! Yes!YES YOU CAN HAVE WHAT IT IS THAT YOUR HEART DESIRES! IM GOING GIVE IT TO YOU. YOU CANT HAVE IT! I KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG NOW YOU CAN FINALLY HAVE IT!

Would you do anything to get what your heart Desired?

1 Samuel 1:11-13

11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth.

13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

Hannah vowed her son to God because she desired a son so bad! She willing to do anything LORD IF YOU GIVE ME A SON I WILL....! What are you willing to give to God for what you desire? You've tried everything else but nothing works. Hannah's vow to God came because she couldn't live without having what it was that she longed for! She lost her hunger, she was sad, it was hurting her husband because he couldnt give her what she wanted. Yet God could, God could open up the door for her she knew that! If God can't give you that one thing you long for then who can?

When Desires become Reality!

1 Samuel 1:19-20 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.

20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.

Is this real? No LET ME SAY IT AGAIN, PINCH ME IS THIS REAL? I can see Hannah holding her baby. Think about when I first told you to think about what your desire is! It was just a thought! Yet when it becomes real! When you can hold on to it when you can grasp it when it becomes reality! Desires don't have to stay thoughts. They dont have to stay just a dream they can become reality ! So think about it what if God gave you all your heart desire... How would you feel to know that your desire can become real? I mean really is this real?
