Becoming an adult
adult
having attained full size and strength; grown up; mature:
1 Corinthians 13:11
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
I will never say I'm grown because I have room for growth. But I will say I'm an adult. I make my own choices pay my own bills. I live on my own. I have my own car. If I had kids they would be able to look up to me as the adult. Who is responsible to lead them and guide them to get through life. At some point we
all have to grow up. In order to do that some times you gotta let of your parents because they stifle your growth of being an adult. You still remain a kid or and can't do the things you need to do as an adult because yourparents hinder you. Its okay let go its time to be an adult!
Its time to grow up
Genesis 2:24
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become
one flesh.
When you have your own family you have to be a man and take care of your family. You step up get your family a place to stay. You leave your mother and your father and you take Care of your wife. Your family doesn't need to be taking care of your wife or you or your children. This is your family. Its time to grow up and take care of your own family. If you don't have a car get a car if you don't have a place get a place. But growing up is moving out getting on your own and starting your own.
Make your own choices
Genesis 24:55-58
55 But her brother and her mother replied, “Let the young woman remain with us ten days or so; then you[a] may go.”56 But he said to them, “Do not detain me, now that the Lord has granted success to my journey. Send me on my way so I may go to my master.”57 Then they said, “Let’s call the young woman and ask her about it.” 58 So they called Rebekah and asked her, “Will you go with this man?”I will go,” she said.
Being an adult means making your own choices. See Rebekah was going to get a husband but she had to make a choice for herself. Her family wanted to make choices for her . but as an adult she made the choice for herself. They could have hindered her because of them wanting to make a choice for her. But as adult she chose what was best for her and what she would do for her life
Walk into adult hood
Its time to let go its time to walk into adult hood
Let go of what is hindering you even if it's your parents. Something's you can receive until you let go of your childhood and,become an adult.1 Corinthians 13:11
