Genesis 37:19-20

19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

As soon as they could Joseph brothers betrayed him. The plotted against him to take him down. This was

out of jealousy of what God was doing in his life. They didn't ever want to see him in the place where God had for him so they cast him in a pit. Pits in our life are places we can only get out unless someone else helps us out of!!! Yet when they pulled him out the pitt it was only to sell him into bondage not to help him get free! They betrayed their own BROTHER YES THEIR OWN FAMILY OUT OF JEALOUSY!

His family betrayed him for a little money!

Genesis 37:27-28 Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

Its crazy how much the value of money is over a person. ITs actually sad! People sell people into prostitution, slaves, ect they will betray you over a little bit of money. Yet have no remorse over what they did. Its crazy how money can turn people

against people. Judas walked with Jesus most of his ministry yet betrayed him over money. This betrayal brought him to his death! Joseph betrayal brought him into bondage and slavery! But people don't care as long as they got a few dollars in their pocket
