To be Humble : Having or showing a modest or low estimate of one's own importance.
Humbling yourself can be very hard we all want some type of respect from people,we all want a certain name for ourselves( and push over is usually not one of them) we have this pride in us that if someone makes use feel less of what we think we are we will make them feel so small about themselves.
2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
1 Peter 5:6-7
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Discipleship wow what a word! Means a lot recently I have been learning how to become a disciple and humbling myself down. Discipleship is very selfless putting your dreams and everything that you want in life behind you to serve other people
Matthew 4:18-20
And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
These men dropped everything INSTANTLY to follow Jesus. This is actually a place to think we all say we would but in all reality if Jesus told you today to drop everything and follow him would you. Many people wont do that some of us are like the Rich Young Ruler in Mark 10:17-27 Who Value our riches and the things of this world such as our work,education,money,material things,house,clothing,things in which we value living that fast life,full of greed
Mark 10:17-27
17And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
18And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
19Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
20And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
21Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
22And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
23And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
25It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Others of us would value people not wanting to leave those who we loved behind us even if it would change the lives of many. Yet a lot of us want the comforts of the world. Jesus had no where to call his home.Yet where ever he and his disciples went people blessed them.
Luke 9:57-63
57 Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”
58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.”
But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”
61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”
62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
It takes a lot of humility and faith to trust in God to follow him when his plans don't seem to mix well with your plans.
