^{Believing God!}

^John11:40-41 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

⁴¹ Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

Lazarus was dead he died there was no hope! People had rolled the stone on him! Even when Jesus showed up they wanted to keep him dead because they didn't think Jesus could do anything now that he was dead! Yet It doesnt matter how long somethings been dead when Jesus shows up if he shows up things change! There comes a point in time in life where we tend to bury people in the grave because we have given up hope about them changing, giving up hope on their life ever changing, just giving up hope all together! Lazarus was sick and got worst then died! Yet when Jesus showed up he asked Martha if she believed! All it takes is belief for God to do what it is that he said he was going to do. Belief that what he said is true is true! Once you believe God can do it he will do it! When the man with the demon possessed son had unbelief in his life he told Jesus " LORD I BELIEVE HELP THINE UNBELIEF" AND ONCE HE SPOKE THIS JESUS HEALED HIS SON! (Mark 9:23-25)

Mark 9:23-25

²³ Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

²⁴ And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

²⁵ When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

Once in belief  was activated Lazarus was raised and the boy was healed from his demons! Lazarus was losed and let Go from his bondage, and the demon possessed was no longer to be possessed! No longer where they in a place they once were bound down and possessed with demon yet they were now overcomers! They now had a past and they were now soaring over it!

Crossing The Jordan!

^{Joshua 3:17} And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

It had been a long time coming but finally the children of Israel were crossing the Jordan! Making it to the other side into the promise land! They could not move until God moved! There faith had  activated their ability to cross! There could have been many other ways to travel over the jordan maybe boat! Yet they passed over on dry land! The waters dried up for them to cross! They were now  overcoming! When Noah build his ark the world was corrupt! Yet not until the waters receded and the dove brought back the olive branch and there was dry land was it safe for them to get out the ark! The storm was now over! Things would never be the same anymore like they once were they had made it through the rain storm then had overcome what all others drowned in! The children of Israel where now crossing the jordan where all the rest died in the wilderness from unbelief!

Job 42:12-15

¹² So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

You may have had a rough start but your future will be better than your past!Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life!

Celebrate Your Overcoming of Your Past

 Luke 15: 18-24

¹⁸ I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

¹⁹ And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

²⁰ And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

²¹ And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

²² But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

²³ And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

²⁴ For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

The prodigal son was an over-comer  !!!He had a past but he came home and he was lost but was now found! His father understood that and  because of that it was now time to celebrate! The father gave him his best because he deserved the best because he was an overcomer!
Its always great to have a party  to celebrate your accomplishments! When ever people win a game they celebrate, when ever people graduate college or school they celebrate, when people get married they celebrate well why not when you overcome with Jesus. I know first hand it can be hard to believe when your disbelief is so strong! Yet when you finally get it when it finally clicks in your head you just want to shout it out OMGOSH! Guess what changed in my life today!!! I BELIEVED AND THINGS ARE DIFFERENT NOW!

Luke 15:7
 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

A Gift You can't buy!

Genesis 21
 And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.² For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.³ And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

Gift  

A thing given willingly to someone without payment;

A gift is something you cannot buy for yourself! Yet it is something that someone gives you ! Sarah believed God! Through faith she conceived and bare a son! ( Hebrews 11:11) God gave her a gift something that she couldn't buy herself but only something he could give her! There are gifts in life that we can go out and buy ourselves something! Yet there are gifts that only God can give us! You know sometimes when you don't have the amount of money you need to buy something you want! Well that's how Gods gifts are! They are like the gifts from that the rich family memeber in your family always gives you! The gifts you yourself can't go out and buy for yourself but gifts that even your money can't buy on your own. Only God can reward you with them. When the prodigal came home he had nothing. Yet His father gave him robes, rings, shoes and a meal. The prodigal had nothing at this point but the father was giving him everything. God gave Jesus as a gift you can't buy! So that we could over come our past and dwell with him in heaven! It's a great feeling to be an overcomer now that I have overcame! So ask yourself will you accept Jesus as your free gift a gift money can't buy! Will you believe? Will you overcome with Christ!
