walk
/wôk/
Verb
Move at a regular and fairly slow pace by lifting and setting down each foot in turn, never having both feet off the ground at once.
John 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
Sometimes in life we stay stuck in the same place because we can't see what God has for us. We end up missing out opportunities that we have in life because we are afraid to take certain exits in life that God wants us to take. Even when that exit can be the best thing that God has to offer us. We move forward but we have no real destination. We are playing a part but not going anywhere just going with the motions of life. We are like the children of Israel wandering in the wilderness going in circles making moves yet the promise land is right on the other side of the Jordan. Really, ask yourself, Whats the point of standing outside the promise land your whole life if you can't taste the fruit of the land ? What's the point of someone giving you a gift something you can have if you never open it, enjoy it, love it, or use it? Yet you just sit there are just watch it while it sits on the other side of the room! Think about Jesus he died for our sins yet a lot of us will never receive the free gift of salvation in which it is that Christ has to offer.
I started this blog to help people soar high above their past to overcome where they came from so they could walk into their destiny. Yet through the process of my journey I found myself stuck in the wilderness. I was stuck in my own life trying to move forward from where God wanted to take me. God gave me a gift and I neglected to see the importance of my gift. I saw my gift as the same as all the things I had in the past. The children of Israel saw the promise land like Egypt they didn't see the good in the land they just gave a bad report they only saw the negatives not any of the positives As I saw my gift It was infront of my face but I never took grasp of my gifts true value. It was like a river between us and and I wanted my gift more than anything but the river just seemed to hard to cross.
Walking in Two Different Directions
Amos 3:3
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
It always hurts so bad in life when you have to part from someone in life because your paths of being together come to an end. Not always because you want them to but because your paths are going in two different directions. One person is going left and another is going right.
The children of Israel could not move forward to where God was taking them because they did not agree on what God was showing them. God saw a land flowing with milk and honey. They saw a land full of giants and hurdles to jump. When we have disbelief in our lives to believe that what God has for us is not the best for us then it hinders us from moving forward. Many people will never walk on the path with Christ because they will never believe what Christ has for them is better for them. The prodigal son ran off into the world with his inheritance to live prodigal living because he thought what the world had to offer him was better for him. (Luke 15:11-32)Gods plans for us are always better for us yet he will never force us to stay in a place in which we don't want to be in. We have to willingly want to follow his path. God will never force you to be somewhere in life you don't want to be. Jesus Christ willingly offered up his life on the Cross for the sins of the world. Not until the prodigal son had came to his own self in his own mind that what God had for him was better did he decided to get up and walk back to his father.

1. The act or function of directing.
So your are here but you want to be there. Yet do you even know where here is and how to get there? Really how do you get to where it is you want to go if you have never been there before? It's easy to travel down roads known but its harder to travel down roads unknown. So where are you going i mean your moving forward but where are you moving to? What's your destination? How do you get there? What is required of you in order for you to get there? What steps do you have to take?
Whenever you look on a set of directions there is always a set of steps you have to take in order to get from the start to finish. Now don't get overwhelmed because when something comes out the box that you have to put together it's always seems a mess. So that means whenever you start out with directions there maybe a lot of twist and turns a lot of pieces yet when your finished the finally product will come together nicely or you will make it safely to your destination. That's only if you follow the instructions correctly and don't get lost or put pieces together where they don't belong.
Acts 9:6
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
Think of Saul when he meet Jesus on the Road to Damascus a cross road in his life. When he finally slowed down to hear Jesus. The first thing Christ told him was instructions he was blind without direction. Yet Christ wanted to show him i will guide you and instruct you along the way if you just let me. He had to put his faith in God because he was blind and didn't know which way to go. The bible says without vision people perish (Proverbs 29:18). Jesus Christ came to this world to give life God gave his only begotten son so that we would not perish but have everlasting life.(John 3:16) So that we could have vision of the promise land which is to dwell in heaven with him.

Luke 15:20-24 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
Wow just imagine God wanting to give the Children of Israel the Promise land but they wouldn't believe they stayed in the same place for so long. We have to decided that we want to get up from where we are and believe that what the Father (God) has for us is better that what the world has to offer us. The prodigal when he realized this got up from where he was and headed home and despite of everything in which he had done the father wanted to give him his best. When the father saw him walking he was filled with compassion! He was more happy about his son coming home then what his son had done. When we decided to walk with Jesus and believe in the destination he has for us. God is happy and when we see as he see's he gives us the best of what he has! He gave his only son for us so that we could dwell with him in heaven one day with him so that we can see the promise land! When you reach your destination he rejoices because you made it to the place in which he has seen for you. The path in which when he first gave you the vision of where you were headed in life you are now arriving. You are now making it to your place of promise! You are now home! Welcome to your destination!
